Aladin's Pizzeria & Shawarma was built from the ground up in Winnipeg's West End by founder Md Patwary, a graduate of the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology. The mission was clear from day one: serve Winnipeg's growing Muslim and halal-conscious community with certified halal food that does not compromise on taste or variety.
The original location on Portage Avenue quickly became one of the only restaurants in Winnipeg offering late-night halal dining — open daily until 2:00 AM with an eclectic menu spanning pizza, shawarma, pasta, calzone, and Bangladeshi home-style dishes. Its success led to a second location in Charleswood at 6500 Roblin Blvd, which celebrated its first anniversary in April 2026 and brings the Aladin's experience to Winnipeg's southwest communities in a cozy café setting.
From Ramadan iftar buffets to late-night pizza runs and our signature Bangladeshi polao dishes, Aladin's is more than a restaurant — it's a community gathering spot for Winnipeg's Muslim and halal-conscious diners and food lovers of every background.
